Dang! I wish I could find the charger to my camera. I can’t seem to find it anywhere . I guess spring cleaning is in order for this weekend. My sister in-law and I went to the huuuge shoe sale that Army and Navy was having. I got a LOT of cute dressy shoes for the summer . I’m so happy, but Matt isn’t about the credit card bill . Here is a pretty purple pair I bought.

Speaking of sisters, my baby sister just got her driver’s license!!! I am SO proud of her ♥ . Now if only Matt could get his, but getting a driver’s license in B.C. is another story…

I finally installed the Livejournal cross over plugin, thanks to Cetta ♥ ! This is what I love the most about WordPress. It’s so versatile, yet tricky . Hopefully, all of my entries written on my blog will be cross posted over to my old Livejournal account.

Shelby bought a pet uromastyx over the weekend. We helped him with his tank that the Edwards so graciously donated . Here is a picture!

I dislike the fact that we need a key fob to get in to our condominium complex . Security-wise, I think it’s a great idea, but not if somebody’s asshole friend gets a hold of it somehow and breaks in to the bike locker to steal bikes for drug money . Matt finally got duplicate keys made so I can lock our door and exit the gate, but I am still waiting for that hateful key fob so I can enter the building!!!

On a more cheerful note, Chris and I went to the mall. Chris seemed anxious to build robots, and I just wanted to get my Mother’s Day shopping over with . It usually takes my packages a while to go through US/Canadian Customs, so I want to ship out my gifts early. I also bought some lovely citron green tea for my mother in-law . I really hope she likes it. Now I am just waiting for the weekend to finally begin.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend . Mine was a real blast! Matt and I went to his mother’s house and I got to have a nice chat with his family. I had some of the best turkey & stuffing… cake too, but I still miss my grandmother’s honey baked ham and the lamb shaped coconut cake we have for Grandfather’s birthday every April . I know I will see them next year, so it’s all good!

Last Friday my friends and I went to Lynn Canyon and hiked about 3 kilometers for over three hours in the snow- yes, snow. As we went up the mountain trail the snow kept getting higher and higher until an old man told us to turn back. It was amazing, but now I am so sore …

On Saturday we went swimming- quite a change, eh? I got to relax my tired and aching muscles in the hot tub and watch my husband and our friends dive off of a super high diving board. I really cannot wait until the water slide park opens up in the summer. It will be so much fun! I hope to do a lot of things this year, namely going on a camping trip with friends, getting nice and tan, maybe even going fishing! I really cannot wait.

I am so tired and sore today. I think a nice hot relaxing soak in the tub is in order .
